Registration
Thank you for registering to The Sixth International Conference on Algorithmic
Aspects in Information and Management (AAIM 2010), to be held in Weihai, China,
July 19 - 21, 2010. To register to AAIM 2010, please download and fill in
the
registration form (for authors from China, please also refer to
the banking account information in
Chinese). For each accepted paper, at least one author must register
before May 8, 2010 in order for the paper to be included in the
conference program and proceedings (LNCS volume 6124).
Accommodation
Please indicate in your registration email whether you would like to stay in Shandong University Academic Center at Weihai, or whether you will book your own hotel (see the "hotels" section of the website of Weihai for details). In the former case, we would also need to know
whether you need a standard double room (with two single beds) or a double bedroom (with a double bed)
arrival date (and time, if known)
departure date
whether you want us to find a roommate for you to share the cost
The room
rates are
standard double room /double bedroom
660 RMB per day, which includes 420RMB for living, and 120RMB
for diet.
Notes:
So, if one person lives in a standard room, the cost per day
would be 420+120 = 540RMB.
If two persons share a standard room, the cost for one person
per day would be 210+120 = 330RMB.
The diet fees will be paid according to your real consumption
in the Hotel.
The 120RMB diet fees per day may vary (very) slightly.
Visa
Non-Chinese participants will need visa to enter China. In most countries, it normally takes 1-2 weeks to get tourist visa which are valid for 3 months. If you need a hotel confirmation for your tourist visa application, please let us know. Please check your local Chinese embassy for details of their rules.
Tourist visa is usually ok for entering China for a conference (we encourage you to attend the conference by a tourist visa). It is also possible if you would like to formally apply for Academic Activity visa (which is actually a business visa); however, this is more complicated because you need an official invitation letter from us. To write this letter, we need to know the following information from you (and each companion):
Name as in passport
Nationality
Passport number
Sex
Birthday
Education level (student, Master's, PhD, etc.)
Job (student, prof, etc.)
Expected day to enter China
Expected day to leave China (usually 10 days for a conference visa)
Cities you plan to visit in China
Where you will apply for visa (address of embassy)
Airmail address and fax number (so that we can send you the letter)
Please send requests for invitation letter to Mr. Peng ZHANG (algzhang@sdu.edu.cn).
It may take a few days before you receive the letter.
